JOB SUMMARY:

The Operations team is looking for experienced heavy equipment CDL Equipment Drivers for current and upcoming project needs across San Antonio who will support our Construction team with hauling, removing, loading, and unloading of materials, supplies, and heavy equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Check vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order.
• Inspect loads to ensure cargo, material, and equipment are secure.
• Secure cargo for transport, using ropes, blocks, chains, binders, and covers.
• Maneuver trucks into loading and unloading positions, following signals from loading crew and checking vehicle and equipment are properly positioned.
• Drive trucks with capacities greater than 3 tons, including tractor-trailer combinations, to transport and deliver materials, supplies, and heavy equipment.
• Load and unload trucks using loading-related equipment.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• CDL A required
• 2+ years of experience operating and driving commercial trucks for heavy equipment and large material loads - Equipment hauling
• Experience loading, unloading, securing, and inspecting cargo such as: Heavy equipment, materials, tools, and supplies
