Job Summary

As our Electrical Cost Estimator, you will be responsible for gathering and analyzing financial data to estimate and allocate costs for current and proposed projects. Working closely with clients, engineers, and project teams, you'll develop accurate forecasts, identify cost-reduction opportunities, and provide insights that ensure projects are completed efficiently and profitably.

This role is perfect for a hands-on professional with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of electrical systems and construction processes.

What You'll Do:

• Collaborate with clients, engineers, and staff to understand project requirements.
• Review and analyze processes, materials, and staffing to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Determine resource needs, including staff, equipment, and materials, for project execution.
• Develop and draft accurate cost estimates and distribute reports to stakeholders.
• Prepare production scenario forecasts and recommend strategies based on findings.
• Identify optimal pricing structures to ensure profitability.
• Use estimating software like Accubid and LiveCount to develop project budgets.
• Perform other related duties as needed.

What We're Looking For:

• A professional with 10+ years of trade experience (preferred).
• At least 2 years of estimating experience (preferred).
• Proficiency in cost accounting principles and construction estimating software (Accubid and LiveCount).
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Physical capability to navigate construction sites with rough terrain and lift up to 15 pounds.
